The Urban Veil Bridal is situated in D'Urbanvale Durbanville Cape Town. The Urban Veil Bridal is proudly owned by bridal designer and bridal image consultant Destination Wedding planner & Co-ordinator Marius Kruger. Marius is in the wedding and bridal industry for 20 years now. Marius started his first bridal empire "Bridal Place by Marius Kruger" in 2006 in Moreleta Park Pretoria East.
Marius showcased his gowns on well known bridal expo's such as The Diep in die Berg Wedding Expo with Pretoria News "The SA Bridal Fashion Collection 2011," where he presented 12 exclusive dramatic ball gowns with tailored Venetian masks, a collection he called "The Masked Bride." He also styled and directed a bridal shoot at Avalon Castle for The Brides Diary Magazine, showcasing a new collection and his vision for inspiring brides with bridal wear, hair, and makeup.
Marius's expertise extends to television, where he has styled and dressed brides for African traditional weddings on DSTV's MSANZI MAGIC, providing support and ensuring unforgettable wedding days.
After 10 years, Marius sold Bridal Place to focus on planning and coordinating weddings. He served as head coordinator and general/wedding manager for venues such as Pumulani Lodge Dinokeng and Pinedew Venue Kameeldrift East, providing extraordinary service.
Marius decided to a new begining and relocated to Western Cape in 2022 and that same year he hosted the very first wedding expo for Mossel Bay in the town hall, featuring 38 vendors and boutiques. In 2023, he hosted the second expo with 47 vendors and 5 boutiques, showcasing a beautiful bridal runway show. In 2024, Marius hosted the third wedding expo, "The Spring Bridal Show," with 47 vendors. Mayor Dirk Kotze opened the event and expressed strong community support for the expo's annual continuation.
